I do not believe that any majority, whether in this Administration or no, actually wants less diversity, but are rather pragmatists, and realists...and the numbers do not lie. To be a 'majority' may only mean 52-55%, rather than a the normal Super Majority of 90+%.
In Australia, there was a protest against the admittance of any South African farmers as refugees, even having any suggestion of temporary shelter expedited defeated in parliament.
